Description:

Be required to design and draught layouts for piping and mechanical plant using both 2D and 3D techniques. Including theproduction of schematic, and general arrangement drawings, pipeline routes, material take offs and other detail drawingsas required.Undertake site surveys prior to design commencing, and after construction for as built drawings.HNC/HND, preferably mechanical or civil, or equivalent qualification.Minimum of 10 years experience of piping and mechanical plant layout and cross country pipelines. Ideally within theutilities sector although candidates with experience in petro-chem/oil and gas will be considered.CAD experience. 2D and 3D Microstation or AutoCAD. Knowledge of a 3D pipe/plant modelling application (e.g. Plantspace,Autoplant, PDS) would be useful but not essential. Further CAD training will be available for the right applicant.
