This company are looking for a candidate who will:1. Initially assist with condition surveys of river channels and associated features; undergo training to become a registered asset inspector as approved by the Environment Agency; take increasing responsibility for the condition survey work undertaken by the office for the Environment Agency and British Waterways.2. Develop skill in the use of AutoCAD, to become competent in its use as a 3-dimensional tool. 3. Be available for other types of surveying, monitoring and computer work as the need arises, such opportunities are dependent on the work won for the office.Formal technical qualifications are not critical, nor is age but some relevant experience necessary. General fitness, a driving licence and a willingness to work outside during some of the winter months are essential. Key qualities looked for in a candidate are enthusiasm; commitment to completing a task within a given period; ability to fit in with team requirements and personalities. |
