Whilst they are recruiting a permanent employee, the is now a Contract opportunity working within the design team to provide CAD support to the designers producing schematic, detailed design and asbuilt record drawings.Structure:Reporting to Design Manager.Job Specification:Key Role Responsibilities:Request and receipt of OS background and dxf files from ClientPreparation of baseline drawing for developmentProduction and issue of design drawings in accordance with proceduresProduction of land referencing plans and other noticing plansProduction of traffic management arrangement drawingsProduction of schematic drawings throughout the project stages for feasibility, detailed design and asbuiltProduction of detailed asbuilt drawings based upon survey informationUndertake onsite measurements as required to produce asbuilt record drawingsRevisions to and re-issue of drawings as requiredTo participate in multi-disciplinary project meetingsMaintain design database drawing registerSkills Required:Excellent IT skills in the use of Microsoft packages i.e Word, Excel, Access and OutlookExcellent AutoCAD skills minimum 3years experience preferableKnowledge of AutoCAD capabilities and programming development optionsGood communication skills, written and verbal Good time management and workload prioritisation skills.Person Required:Good work ethic Committed individual with flexible approach to varying duties.Role will be based in Redditch, Worcestershire just South of Birmingham
