Description:

To carry out design changes including conceptul work to the Internal Gearbox (IGB) and to rotating components - shafts,stubshafts, seal arms - within a gas turbine engine.To create design definitions (schemes) including Design DefinitionReports (DDR's) and scheme folders.To participate in risk analysis activities. To participate / run Design and Makemeetings with suppliers. To liase closely with suppliers and the Component Definition Group to produce the Definitionin-line with Concurrent Engineering practice. To produce weight estimations for the definition in-line with thefranchised weights process. To attend and present at Chief Design Engineer scheme review meetings. To liase with relevantspecialists to achieve "buy-off" of the design definition.
