Capacity Planner/SAS Cheshire Technical Specialist required by leading bank, to assist in the capacity planning of all the banks major IT systems. Need someone to understand the Banks infrastructure & applications, primarily to hold workshops with the component owners & application owners to determine key metrics that they would look for to determine the health of their components. Once the data feeds are agreed, you need a reasonable amount of SAS experience to be able to take the data, extract / transform & load it into the UNIX based capacity database. The metrics then need to be joined up to make an end to end service view.
