Working closely with the Group Producer and in line with the overall portal strategy you will use commercial, editorial, creative, marketing and project management techniques to create a top quality content area and community. You will be directly responsible for the daily management of their channel content including the maintenance of high quality editorial standards and user experience. You will also manage all partner relationships with content providers and work closely with the Group Producer and commercial team to develop these and form others which will benefit the channels. You will need to be able to demonstrate clear understanding and operational experience of running and developing a channel, and understand the production processes and the potential of the medium in addition to a detailed knowledge of that market sector. You must be able to produce a level of exciting, attractive, sticky content (writing tight, focused, creative, exciting copy) which will enhance the site and use and utilise sharp business skills to manage your channel.
