GovernmentPurpose of the Job: To manage and co-ordinate the Financial Accounting functions for the trading companiesDeputise for Head of Financial AccountantImplementation of financial accounting policies and control consistentManaging production of timely and accurate input to Group financial accounts, production of local authority, statutory accounts and external reporting in line with guidelinesFull responsibility for the accuracy of Balance SheetProactive role in the continual measurement and improvement of performance, including best value initiatives Develop and maintain year-end financial accounting plan and timetableReview reconciliation of balance sheet accountsMinimum 7 years post qualifications experience3 years experience in a senior financial accounting and management positionProven knowledge of accounting standards and financial and statutory dutiesExperience in use of SAP accounting modules (desirable) |
