Description:

Main duties will be to Investigate and process claims allocated to you in accordance with the policy cover. To ensurethat claims are dealt with promptly and efficiently thereby meeting Underwriters expectations and CDISL ServiceStandards To authorise payments in accordance with authority levels and to refer payments over authority limits to anappropriate individual in a timely manner ensuring that claims are processed and paid in accordance with ServiceStandards. To communicate with internal and external clients in a professional and courteous manner, whether by telephoneor letter. To assist in the development and training of section members including responding to queries and providingsupport to ensure the efficient running of the section.To refer to the Team Leader any complaint threateninga) LegalProceedingsb) Lloyds Complaints Department or the Ombudsmanc) Press InterventionTo identify and participate in the teams objectives, thereby contributing to the overall company business plan.
