Description:

Our client, who manufacture and supply components and assemblies to automotive plants across the UK, are looking for 2CNC Programmers to join their team in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Reporting to the Engineering Group Manager, youwould be primarily responsible for producing CNC programs and nests in order to achieve cost, delivery and qualitytargets.Key responsibilities will include; providing support for production shop floor to ensure integrity of CNC programmes,correct usage of machining tools and efficient set-up of jigs and fixtures; providing support for engineers on 'cuttingtechnology' advances, CNC programming techniques & machining methods, and prototype/pre-production manufacture runs.Suitable candidates should be educated to City & Guilds / ONC level, must be conversant with CNC programming using 3Dsoftware, command a full working knowledge of CAM package MasterCam and multi-axis machining through numerous machinetool controls (Acromatic, FANUC and Siemens). Ideal candidates will also have knowledge of Pro-Engineer or SoliWorks. Therole will involve working either a Monday - Friday backshift (2pm - 10pm) or a permanent nightshift (10pm - 6am).If you are interested in this exciting role please send your CV to Steve Laurie.
