All applicants will need to satisfy the requirements for UK security clearance and must be willing to provide evidence ofeligibility to work in the UK if requested.Based in Toulouse, to carry out RF systems validation engineering tasks on commercial communications payload projects,providing communications systems expertise tosupport spacecraft AIT campaigns. The tasks will include planning and review of spacecraft level payload testing,provision of guidance and clarification to UK and French AITstaff including hands on support in the clean room, support to NRB s/ disposition of anomalous results, liaison withcustomer representatives, preparation and attendance attest reviews and preparation of test reports. This role includes support to launch site and In Orbit testing.Overseas travel and Commercial Payload Engineering work in Toulouse essentialQualifications and/or SkillsEssential: ONC/OND in an Engineering discipline or BSc in Engineering/ Electronics/Science/MathematicsDesirable: Higher degree in Communications/Aerospace Engineering. Knowledge of FrenchPrevious ExperienceEssential: A proven track record and minimum of 3 years post graduate engineering experience in RF communications systemsor equipments.Desirable: Experience in several of the following:spaceborne communication system design and analysis;payload system design & analysis; payload integration, validation & test; payload equipments design/build/test; digitaland analogue communications; system, sub-system, andequipment specification writing; requirements management. |
