The Compliance Engineer will be responsible to the Client Manager fore all matters relating to professional standards and technical policy to an approved standard within financial resources, The post holder will be accountable to the commission Mechanical & Electrical Regional Maintenance Co-ordinator for the supervision of the Term Contractors. Core Responsibilities: To manage the following Term Contractors: M & E, BC & E and Ground Maintenance to ensure the delivery of an efficient and cost effective service to court building within the Department for Constitutional Affairs. To manage Specialist and Statutory Inspections. To audit and monitor the corporate water hygiene and asbestos policies. To audit and monitor contract programmes. Shall partake in preparing annually a schedule of work for the ensuing financial year. Prepare programme of visits for the Estate Buildings. Periodically inspect the estate buildings to audit site log books and completed maintenance and reactive work. Manage the asset register. Manage the Building Maintenance Files. Assist in the development of the IT system to proactively manage the technical data and support the service. Providing sound technical advice for facilities performance improvement Utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System. Monitoring and controlling energy use Provide an ongoing support service to the help desk Assist as required in the provision of emergency services to maintain the Managing Agents responsibilities in the event of fire, flood or damage caused by inclement weather and equipment failure of similar emergencies outside working hours as may be required.
