Leading global corporation have an immediate requirement for a Compliance Specialist to based in their offices in London.Reporting to the Director of Compliance your key responsibility is to develop the Internal Control function and ensurethat group directives are in compliance with SOX and US GAAP requirements. You will lead key initiatives which willinclude communication with IT and other business units necessary to meet the requirements, prepare project plans definingtheir costs etc. and ensure that the deadlines are adhered to. Key tasks will include documenting processes andprocedures in relation to all financial activities, identification of any risks related to these, implementation of anyprocess/procedural changes and post implementation reviews ensuring that documentation is updated with changes. Youshould be a qualified accountant or possess a similar qualification, with previous experience in compliance and SOX andin return you will receive a salary of up to GBP 55k + excellent benefits. |
