Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: To employ tools and methodologies that drives the elimination of waste and reduce variability, providing leadership,coaching and training in continuous improvement techniques Using lean tools and techniques to develop and implement action plans to achieve identified opportunities To highlight potential improvement opportunities through the structured use of analysis techniques such as (MIFRA)Material and Information Flow Analysis / Value stream mapping Provide training to production teams and supervision to support CI activities and to champion the application of leanenterprise principles across the company Support management and supervision in the development of effective visual management toolsCORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To support a safe working environment, considering company procedures and current legislation Operate in a manner which satisfies the requirement for confidentiality in the performance of duties, including thatall data is handled and stored with due regard to confidentiality Comply with the Companys total quality philosophy by:o Seeking opportunities for continuous improvementso Identifying ways of eliminating wasteo Communicating in an effective manner at all timeso Striving to exceed the internal and external customers expectationso To support the achievement of tasks and targets, and ad hoc exercises and projects as requiredCORE COMPETENCIES: Understanding the business Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business Enthusiasm and ability to manage change Ability to Challenge the status quo Personal Credibility Training, coaching and facilitation Effective team working TenaciousBACKGROUND REQUIRED:You will be a qualified engineer with an extensive track-record of success gained in the implementation and the on-goingdevelopment of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
