An excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager with extensive knowledge of the manufacturing industry. Your remit will be to: Ensure that the procurement of subcontract items is undertaken using a common approach, in accordance with the Vetco Gray Controls Procedures and Codes of Practice Ensure that every projects subcontract needs are met, on time and to budget Regularly communicate subcontract status to the relevant Project Controllers Generate and maintain the preferred supplier list for subcontracts Supplier development, specifically forming supplier partnerships and early supplier involvement where appropriate Create and maintain contractsAn excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager with extensive knowledge of the manufacturing industry. The post holder will have at least 5 years experience in contract management within a manufacturing environment The post holder will have mixture of technical and commercial expertise, and is likely to have a procurement, engineering or project management background Educated to degree level, completed or working towards MCIPS Working knowledge of contract law Must have strong negotiation skills Must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of commercial issues and purchasing techniques Analytical and problem solving skills Must have quality assurance awareness Must be able to communicate effectively and have an aptitude for learning new techniques, methods and principles Apply now!
