Key Responsibilities:Advising Project and Sales Managers on the application of Terms and conditions of Contract, and Contract Law both pre andpost-contract.Analysis and negotiation of sales enquiry commercial and contractual terms and conditions of contract.Risk assessment and estimating of commercial costs for bids, drafting commercial sections of tender.Reviewing and acknowledging orders and contracts.Preparation of contractual claims and variations.Overview of insurance, bond & guarantee, and legal issues.Drafting and negotiation of licences, contract and agreements.Advising on commercial export matters, e.g. Letters of Credit.Overview and optimisation of procurement and sub-contractor control.Qualifications and Experience:Good knowledge of contract law and international trading arrangements (including Letters of Credit and similar bankinginstruments).Technical knowledge of the EPC process contracting industry at bid and contract stages.4 years + experience in an EPC contracting organisation or legal practice equivalent.Experience of IPR and software licensing would be an advantage.Personal Skills, Competencies:Good inter-personal skillsThe ability to proactively contribute within a project team working environment.Self motivated.Ability to logically plan and prioritise workload.Computer literate
