A world leading Telecommunications Company currently requires experienced Core Network Consultants to join their international team in Dublin, Ireland. Our service delivery centre focuses on high value-added services based on customer intimacy, end-2-end customer understanding and business and technology leadership. The Core Network Engineering division provides world-class consultancy services relating to advanced wireless networks (GSM, GPRS, UMTS) as well as Engineering and Transport networks. We are actively seeking applicants for the role of Core Network Consultant to join our team. Job Description The Core Network Consultant is responsible for service delivery to global customers in one or more of the following areas Core Network Design of circuit switched and IP Network Systems Core Network Performance Improvement Core Network Design The focus areas of the consultant are the following activities: Network Topology Design and Node & Link Dimensioning Network Impacts Studies and Technical Plans Delivery of a consultancy service to Network OperatorsCore Network Performance Improvement The Consultant will carry out Core Network Performance services and audit within one of these areas: Engine GSM, GPRS, UMTS and comprising the following activities: Set up statistics from relevant nodes, post process, analyse and identify abnormal behaviour Produce recommendations to improve performance and present to Senior Technical ManagersThe ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in one or more of the following Network Design, Technical Support or Product Management, ideally with AXE Equipment or Core Network Products.
