The person:Applicants should be enthusiastic individuals with a genuine interest in working for an innovative, technology ledbusiness. Key competencies will include: * Accuracy, an ability to maintain accuracy in a fast paced environment. * Numeracy, including an ability to calculate the area of standard geometric shapes such as triangles, rectangles and circles. * Technical Aptitude, able to learn about aspects of electronics and materials for blocking electronic noise. * Customer Service, presenting a professional and credible image when dealing with blue-chip clients. * Flexibility, a willingness to adapt to the changing demands of a thriving SME. * Maturity, commercial skills, professionalism and reliability. * IT Skills, able to use Excel and learn a Pegasus Opera costings system.Role/Responsibilities: * Primarily the role will focus on meeting the business' key goal of issuing estimates within 2 hours of the receipt of the initial enquiry. * Liaising with clients from a wide range of sectors including BAE, Thales, Marconi and Rolls Royce. * Calculating material and labour costs from technical drawings, considering wastage costs and material availability. * Issuing formal quotes. * Sending samples to clients. * Sales administration.Company and Benefits:HITEK Electronic Materials Ltd has provided a bespoke service to the UK Electronics industry since 1985, ideally locatednear to the M180 and close to Humberside International Airport and Immingham Docks the company can ship to anydestination with ease.
