Description:

Our client is looking for a Clerk of Works to start on monday 18th July working on this 6 week contract before they recruit permanently for the role. Main duties: Inspect and accept or reject work in progress and completed works for quality, quantity and workmanship. To work on behalf of the council with the technical officers or consultants for the day to day inspection of the works in progress and completed works. To ensure the works are completed in accordance with the Employers Requirements or the Specification and any further written instructions given by the Technical Officers or Consultants. To inspect materials, goods and workmanship on or off site, before, during and after incorporation in the works and to ensure that the specified standards and quality are maintained.
