Description:

You will be working as part of team of five credit controllers, collectively responsible for approx 12000 creditaccounts, 6000 of these have open items.As an experienced Credit Controller you will take sole responsibility for a new ledger that consists of all aged debt.The position will include telephone chasing, investigating discrepancies and unresolved queries, making decisionsregarding when/if legal action is required to secure the debt. Liaising with the depots and sales representatives tomaintain account management.This position requires a person that is of strong character with excellent communication skills at all levels. Theability to make your own decisions is essential. Applicants should be able to multi task and be a team member.In order to be effective in this role a minimum of 2 years recent credit control experience and good IT skills arerequired.The company offers a salary of GBP 16,000 - GBP 18,000pa, 21 days holiday per annum, free on site parking. There is thepotential for this position to become permanent on completion of the six month contract.Hours of work are 9.00am 5.00pm with half an hour for lunch.
