: This is an excellent opportunity to join a global leader in telecom power products and services based in Hemel Hempstead. They are currently looking for a Customer Services Engineer who already has a technical understanding of UPS/ DC technology/ power supplies and is looking for a role which will allow them to utilise their technical skills, but also manage customer accounts and become involved in the commercial side of the business. Your responsibilities will be varied, including;  Supervising a team of field based engineers and internal administration staff  Providing commercial and technical support to customers - being the key point of customer liaison  Ensuring timescales are adhered to and maximum customer satisfaction is maintained at all times  Reporting for customers in conjunction with the field based team  Producing technical quotations for new business and invoice for existing business  Project managing post-sales contracts  Managing a 24 hour customer call-out facility  Managing the field service and installation schedule A qualification in electrical/ electronic engineering is essential, coupled with a technical understanding of power supplies/ UPS. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a small field and office based team is also important. Excellent organisation and communication skills are essential in order to manage customers. You may have already worked in a similar role, or you may currently be working as an engineer and looking for a change and a new challenge. In general, this role will suit a positive and responsive individual who is able to meet the changing demands of both the company and customers. The starting salary will be c. GBP 25-30K (depending on experience).
