Description:

Customer Support Director - Leading international telecomms company Cambridge. Main skills include:* To lead and further instil a customer focused ethos throughout the organisation, undertaking the day-to-day strategicand operational management for all pre and post sales activities.* To Develop a customer focused support strategy that builds upon our existing high levels of customer satisfaction.* To identify and deliver new revenue earning opportunities with regard to customer support, including training andconsultancy services.* To be an active member of the management team with regards to customer and operational issues, working collaborativelywith manufacturing, marketing, bid, commercial, sale and development functions. A proven record of accomplishment in providing customer support internationally - essential Customer focused, with a strong commercial and financial perspective Decision maker, not afraid of accountability, able to act decisively under pressure Proven man management experience and capable of empowering others and nurturing their development The ability to communicate in one or more foreign languages would be advantageous Excellent skills are required in tact, diplomacy, discretion and communication Holding a recognised professional qualification and educated to degree level Having good managerial, operational and logistical experiences gained in a customer-focused environment A proven record of accomplishment in critical negotiations Articulate and capable communicator with excellent presentation skillsManagement experience of logistics, purchasing, repairs, project management, pre and post sales support and associatedadministration and customer help desk functions.This position is based at the Cambridge headquarters with international travel.
