Our client, part of a major Group is a leading producer of a range of luxury, high quality vehicles. Following asignificant period of growth and profitability, their plan is to further strengthen their operation and propel theirreputation for quality excellence further.Role: This new appointment has been created due to an increase in volume and a need for improvement and change. The job holder will manage the organisations after-sales and import depot in Immingham; providing repair & maintenanceand is a hub for all imports. The role will manage, coach and develop a team consisting of a Workshop Supervisor and 12 skilled operatives. A vital key to the overall success of the site will be for the Depot Manager to establish and monitor effective KPIs,effective work planning and standards. A key element will be to manage all documentation and ensure house-keeping is in order across all functions of thesite.Requirements: The successful candidate will be an excellent people manager, with a proven track record in motivating, coaching andleading teams. You will possess at least four years management experience, gained from any production or service environment(background is open due to the non-technical nature of the appointment). The successful candidate will have experience of effective planning of work flows, will be extremely well-organised andhave an excellent work ethic. You will be highly self-motivated, results driven, proven leader and decision-maker who will stand by your own andcompany decisions. |
