To build on thecontinued success of the business, diversification into the contract distribution and home delivery markets has enabledmanufacturers and retailers alike to benefit from the high quality bespoke services they provide. With enormous successin this area, they are expanding rapidly and will shortly move into a new 85,000 sq ft warehouse.As a result of this success a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and ambitious Depot Operations Manager.Working with high profile customer base, this rapidly expanding organisation is seeking to develop their SeniorManagement Team. Reporting to Operations Director, you will be an experienced man-manager within a high volume, multi-drop environment. You will effectively organise and implement methods of work, which maximise process efficiencieswhilst ensuring customer service levels are maintained. You will coach, develop and motivate a team of 20 direct reportsand manage the sub contract and own-drivers. You will also ensure all Health & Safety standards are met and ensure thatsecurity is maintained within agreed security policies to minimise and eradicate damage and loss of stock.The successful candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years experience leading a team within a similarWarehousing/Distribution environment. Ideally you will have devised and implemented KPI systems to ensure a well managedand efficient Operation and you will be a strong character, with experience of dealing with a wide range of personnelissues.
