You will design and develop automotive sealing systems and components from concepts through to production, producing and maintaining all appropriate internal documentation. This role will also involve the analysis of customer body and component data, including tolerance studies, working with CAD Design Engineers to ensure that correct data is used from the customer following procedures for the control of engineering data and working with Customer and Internal Engineers to ensure that Customer System Design Specifications are appropriate and obtained in a timely manner. Ideally a Graduate Engineer (mechanical discipline preferred) or with extensive direct experience of automotive weather sealing design, you should ideally have experience in the design of automotive sealing systems with an outline knowledge of CAD systems used in the automotive industry, good 3D visualisation and a working knowledge of drawing standards.
