The CompanyThis company design, manufacture and sell electrical controllers from electric motors into a large range of industrialapplications ranging from process lines to elevators to stage equipment.The RoleTechnical responsibility for sections of projects.Drive assigned project area through from initial concept to productionInterface with sub-contractors and external Tooling Engineers.Conversion of concept into detailed, producible parts.Working to agreed timescales and project plans.Detailed mechanical arrangements of PCB assemblies.Detailed aluminium extrusions.The CandidateUniversity graduate, with a good honours degree in 'Mechatronics'; 'Integration Engineering' or Mechanical Engineeringwho has used 3D solids modelling CAD and understands the manufacturing processes associated with plastics & die-casting.Strong challenges exist also for those engineers with an appreciation of the thermal management issues involved withpower-electronics.Experienced candidates (HNC min) would also be considered with good working knowledge in 3D CAD from an electronicsenvironment.
