: A first class opportunity for you to join this growing Scottish company which has an excellent reputation for the speed of their design and the quality of their manufacturing. They are currently seeking a Design Manager to be responsible for ensuring that all design work is correctly planned, scheduled, controlled, executed and delivered in a safe, cost effective and professional manner. A key responsibility of this role will also be standardising all aspects of the Design office. You will actively form a link between the Technical, Sales, Production and the Engineering Team to ensure that best practice is identified and implemented. You will also demonstrate and encourage correct Health and Safety behaviours within your area, also taking responsibility for the QHSE performance within your area. Qualified to at least HNC level in Mechanical Engineering, you should have a strong background in design, gained in an Oil & Gas environment, with good 3D CAD skills. You should have experience of providing support to a manufacturing plant and be able to control a small team.
