JOB PROFILE Job Purpose: Responsibility for planning, setting up and managing efficient design operations and programmes for the development and co-ordination of project designs. Key Responsibilities: Review project design inputs, processes and outputs on a regular basis ensuring that corrective actions are set in place as required Manage the design relationship between Pearce and the client, consultants, and statutory bodies acting as the point of contact on design matters. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Construction Design and Management Regulations. Ensure that Design information is compiled, reviewed and recorded in accordance with the appropriate sections of BSEN ISO 9001:2000 Identify design deficiencies and recommend proposals/plans to rectify. Ensure that all project team members involved in the project design receive the relevant information/documentation Manage design input change controls, ensuring that changes are recorded and communicate to the relevant team members Develop the design programme which relates to the total design information flow. Ensure that the design programme is integrated into the overall project programme Define and record the scope of duties of each Designer, both Consultants and Sub-Contract. Ensure that design reviews are completed at regular intervals as required and that any corrective actions require are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Participate in the collation and handover of completed design records to the client (CDM files, O & Ms, Fire Management Plans etc.,) as required Participate in post project reviews recommending improvements for future reference (eg process or design). Responsible for the design analysis in the Tender process.
