They are a leading supplier of technical and management support services to the nuclear industry, both military and non-military sectors. Their knowledge base includes nuclear facilities and operations, re-processing and decommissioning, supported by expertise in investigating and resolving a wide range of operational, safety and technical issues. They are seeking Chartered Design Team Leaders with experience in leading multi-disciplined teams on industrial facility and services design projects. You should have experience working in a regulated industry where safety performance is a major factor in the design solutions, as well as Project management of design projects, delivery of the right design solution, Optioneering and value-engineering and Capturing and developing requirements throughout the design process Previous design experience within a nuclear site license boundary would be highly advantageous, as would experience of Life-cycle costing, Sub-contracting design packages and managing delivery through external parties, Concurrent design and safety case generation. Candidates will already be cleared to a minimum SC level UK security clearance or will be in a position to achieve an appropriate level of clearance, which will require evidence of UK residency for the last 3 years and sole British nationality.
