Description:

Probably qualified to degree (BSc) or diploma HND or HNC level in a subject related to physics, electronics, mechanics,optics or related engineering course or equivalent experience gained in the field. Should have experience of productconstruction and testing. A good understanding of mechanical assembling, electronic/electrical circuit schematics andgeneral circuit operation.Ability to wire a range of connectors, make up cable harnesses, and build 1-off electronics boxes.Faultfinding and repair of electrical/electronic equipment. PC literate and proficient in use of MS Office suite (Word,Excel, etc). Ability to work with limited supervision. Responsibility will include: Construction and testing high powerlaser. This electronic system will include laser mechanical assembly and optical layout. Build and test the controlsystem. This includes the controls for PLCs, switch-mode power supplies, RF generators, heat exchangers, and 3-phasepower distribution systems.
