They deliver a comprehensive range of services in Environmental Management, Building Engineering andTransportation through a network of 28 offices across the UK and Europe.Within their development planning teams across the North of England they are currently recruiting at all levels of staffup to Senior Consultant level.They are ideally seeking individuals who will have a solid background in traffic and transport planning for newdevelopments and they should beable to demonstrate experience in the following:-Traffic/transport impact assessmentsUse of proprietary junction analysis software;Report preparation; andClient Liaison.They are also seeking individuals who possess good communication skills and strong report writing abilities.As a company in return they are able to offer a flexible benefits package that can be tailored to suit individualspersonal needs. They include such things as additional holidays, lunch vouchers and purchasing computer equipment at anextremely favourable rate.In more detail the roles can be defined as follows:-Senior Consultant - An individual possessing a minimum of five years exp. gained within either a local highway authorityor a private sector consultancy with a strong bias towards private sector commissions.The ability to manage schemes up to GBP 20,000Experience of managing and supervising a teamExperience in the production of transport assessments and highway statementsSound working knowledge of DMRB, local highway design guidance, additionally TRICS and junction capacity softwareincluding:- PICADY, OSCADY, ARCADY, TRANSYT and LINSIG.Strong numerical and analytical skills and the experience of producing preliminary highway design layouts includingmajor/minor junctions, grade separated junctions, roundabouts and residential developments. In addition supervision oftraffic surveys and accident investigation.Any experience of the following would also be advantageous:-Negotiations in relation of Section 106,278 agreements and developer contributions and an appreciation of microscopictraffic simulation as well as traffic management experience.The other roles for Consultants and Graduates involve having similar experience, although to lesser extents.In particular the Graduate role might appeal to an individual who has recently graduated and who may have gained someexperience.The company are truly a world leader, so individuals who may not even be considering a move at this time are encouragedto call us.They will also look at more senior individuals, as they are well known for creating positions for such individuals.These are truly outstanding positions and the company really knows how to reward their staff, not just financially, butin terms of career progression.
