Reporting to the Digital Design and DSP Group Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing DigitalSignal Processing algorithms for use in wireless communications systems.Typically, these algorithms will be concerned with modulation, demodulation, error correction and channel equalization.In addition, the role involves implementing the algorithms in RTL for incorporation into an ASIC.A further aspect of the role is the simulation of wireless communications systems to establish and optimize theirperformance. This includes modelling the channel behaviour and the imperfections in the analogue and digitalimplementations.You will have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the area of Digital Signal processing algorithm design.Preferably this should be concerned with radio communication systems. This experience may have been gained either whileworking in industry or through PhD level research.RTL design experience is an advantage but not a prerequisite for this role.QUALIFICATIONSWith a minimum of a good honours degree from a leading institution, but preferably, you will have a relevant MSc or PhD. |
