Description:

Our client is one of the UKs largest food companies with multi-GBP million sales and circa 20,000 employees. They have aportfolio of household brands in the food sector including well established relationships with the major retailers in theproduction of their own label food products.The Role: Co-ordinate delivery of OH&S strategy for Divisional Companies. Lead OH&S function for the division. Develop OH&S Divisional business plan and support the businesses to deliver. Provide profile and commercial focus on OH&S within the companies. Translate and disseminate performance targets. Negotiate service level agreements with Head of OH&S. Report and analyse Divisional performance, recommend improvement and support implementationThe Requirements 5 years experience in OH&S Experience managing a multidisciplinary OH&S unit within the private sector Experience handling budgets Graduate or post graduate qualifications in H&S or an occupational health degree or diploma or NEBOSH diplomaqualification and must be ISOSH registered A good knowledge of Risk management principles and Corporate Social responsibility agenda Proven knowledge of delivery of H&S strategies / programmes The ideal candidate will have people management and leadership skills, be commercially aware, a strategic thinker,excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise, posses a challenging attitude and be a confident individualwho pays attention to detail while working to the bigger picture
