We currently have a vacancy for a Domiciliary Care Manager for the Hertfordshire area. All applicants must have arelevant qualification (NVQ4 or equivalent) in Care, along with at least 2 years experience as a Manager in Domiciliarycare. This may even suit a Deputy Manager with 2 years experience in the Domiciliary care sector who has NVQ 4 and islooking for the next step up into a fruitful career. You must have a sound knowledge of the Care Standards Act 2000 alongwith good sales experience as you will be expected to seek new clients in order to maximise business potential.Requirements:1.Implement, set up and manage all appropriate systems in line with legislative requirements, monitoring them and takingcorrective action, to meet and adhere to changing regulatory and operational requirements.2.To visit clients, assess their needs3.Have knowledge of how to respond to advertisement for tendering domiciliary care contractual work in order to expandthe Homecare project business, prepare the required information in accordance to contract specification and in line withthe standards required.4.Recruitment of staff/care workers on their ability, skills and sensitivity in supporting a multi-ethnic diversecommunity.5.You will also need to have or be working towards NVQ 4 in Care. |
