They havedeveloped a novel technique that considerably reduces the power required by transmitters.The successful candidates will be involved in the design, specification and implementation of advanced WCDMA and OFDMmodulator systems. Duties will entail research into adaptive compensation of transmitter systems and is likely to resultin publication and patent filing opportunities.Candidates will have a strong academic background or proven track record in developing DSP algorithms for communicationsystems. A strong maths background and Fundamental understanding of communications principles and digital modulationschemes, knowledge of at least one of CDMA or OFDM communication standards such as 3GPP,WCDMA, CDMA2000, WiFi, WiMAX,DVB-T/H, DAB. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability in adaptive filtering, parameter estimation, MLSE or predictivealgorithms and experience with a simulation tools such as Matlab, Simulink, SPW or COSSAP. Any experience in RF amplifierlinearisation or design of non-linear systems would be advantageous. |
