You will be responsible for designing digital hardware for use in wireless communications ASICs, and for verifying designs through simulation and emulation. The digital hardware may, for example, be related to signal processing associated with modulation and demodulation, host interfaces such as USB and PCI, and hardware accelerators used for encryption and other intensive tasks. You will have a good honours degree from a leading institution along with 2 years+ relevant experience. You are also thoroughly familiar with Verilog or VHDL and with programming in C. Preferably also familiar with synthesis and static timing analysis. Experience of implementing digital signal processing algorithms in digital hardware would be an advantage. |
