They have Blue Chip clients in IT and telecommunications with content online in over 30countries.Their work is engaging, interactive and highly effective - tailored to quickly improve each individual's knowledge.Recently short listed for a national Excellence in e learning award.ROLE:The Multimedia Developer will require to:Be confident with Flash-based drawing and animation.Identify and fix bugs in Actionscript, both in your own work and in others.Have a knowledge of object-oriented programming techniques and Actionscript classes would be a bonus.Develop learning solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.Translate static, storyboarded-ideas into interactive and engaging animations.Provide assistance to other colleagues and accepting guidance where needed.Share both technical and creative knowledge with the rest of the team.Convey complex ideas using simple and effective metaphors.Experiment with alternative mediums and new software technologies.Understand corporate identity and working within visual guidelines.Help build a library of training resources that can be easily used by other members of the team.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSIt is essential that applicants have a good Graphics or Multimedia Development degree and a minimum of 2years commercialexperience. Any experience in developing training or e-Learning programmes would be a bonus.Essential Software Skills:Flash MX 2004 and the ability to integrate XML and Flash.Actionscript 1.0 is essential. Knowledge of how to code and debug complex flash movies will be necessary.HTML, CSS and JavaScript is used to tie-together and present some of our training, so a basic understanding is required.Dreamweaver MX 2004Photoshop CSPowerPoint and Microsoft Office (obviously!)Desireable Software Skills:Any knowledge of Actionscript 2.0 would be beneficial.Any knowledge of integrating databases, (SQL and PHP) into Flash would be a bonus.Any other drawing tools such as Illustrator, Freehand, Fireworks, etc would be beneficial.Knowledge of 3D modelling software would be a bonus.In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work inthe UK or EU. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
