: This Engineering Consultancy is one of the industrys leading Electrical Contractors with work throughout the UK and Ireland. They specialise in the fields of generation, transmission and distribution of electricity. They now require Electrical Design Engineers to work as part of a team engaged in delivering turnkey, design and construction projects to UK electrical utility companies. Engineers are involved at all stages of the project including technical support to tendering, selection and review of plant, preparation of design drawings for site, earthing and cabling calculations, protection calculations and settings, technical support to site staff and preparation of final handover packages. Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering you will be familiar with Microsoft Office computer packages, EATS and NGTS standards. Knowledge of AutoCAD would be beneficial. Liaison with clients and suppliers and the ability to work as part of a team are key elements of the job and good communication skills are therefore essential. A UK driving licence is required as the job involves travelling throughout the UK for meetings and site visits. |
