Market leaders in the manufacture of building materials is seeking an Electrical Engineer / Manager to ensure the plantis developed and effectively maintained to maximise efficiency and reliability of the plant. The plant is currently goingthrough a significant expansion project that will make it one of the largest of its kind in Europe.The successful candidate will plan and implement maintenance schedules to minimise breakdowns and will always be lookingto identify, justify and implement improvements to the process. Other duties will include analysing and rectifying faultsthat go beyond the skills of other maintenance staff, liaising with suppliers to ensure the plant has the latesttechnology and to motivate and supervise staff and contractors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Otherresponsibilities will include managing the electrical / control aspects of the current expansion project.To apply for this role you will be educated to a minimum of HNC level, with previous experience of a continuous processenvironment as well as exposure to PLC and SCADA systems.Excellent opportunity to join a true market leader in the Manufacture of Building Materials.
