Description:

Our client, designers and manufacturers of high voltage switchgear for use in power stations, Utility companies,petrochemical and other heavy industries, are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team inManchester.The role will involve engineering and design of protection and control schemes for switchgear up to 11kV and preparationof schematic and wiring diagrams for use by factory personnel and customers. Key responsibilities will also include thedesign, specification and ordering of contract specific equipment and other electrical and mechanical components.Suitable candidates will be educated to at least HNC level in electrical engineering or equivalent and must haveexperience of designing protection and control schemes for high voltage switchgear and producing CAD schematic and wiringdiagrams to recognised British and international standards.
