Systems Analysis Engineers - Glasgow/South Coast Due to an increasing workload they are seeking experienced power system analysts to work on a variety of offshore, industrial and utility projects for clients based in the UK and abroad. Experience in one or more of the following software packages would be an advantage - PSS/e, IPSA, EDSA, ETAP. Protection experience is also preferred. Most importantly, the ability to prepare clear reports and use modelling as a tool in conceptual design and system assessment exercises is vital, as is the ability to run analysis projects and liaise with clients. Overhead Line Engineer - Brighton Your role will be to undertake design, preparation of specifications and supervision of projects up to 400kV. Preferably degree qualified with a minimum of 10 years experience, you will have detailed knowledge in all aspects of overhead lines including route selection, profiling, foundations, conductors and insulators. Electrical Project Engineers Brighton, York, Glasgow Working on your own or in small teams, projects will involve preparation of reports, specifications and design approvals for a range of EHV substation projects up to 400kV. Good writing skills are essential along with a full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel to different locations in the UK and possibly overseas. Experience in an EHV substation environment is required. Applicants must be degree/HND qualified in an electrical discipline and have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Senior Resident Engineers Gulf Region We currently require a number of Senior Electrical RE's with experience of either Overhead Lines, Substations or Cables. In addition we require an RE Control & Instrumentation. The RE's will be required to review and approve contractor's designs, supervise the erection, testing and commissioning, and be familiar with QA/QC and safety activities to ensure that contractor's works complies with specifications. A sound knowledge of UAE and Middle East construction practices would also be beneficial in this role.
