Description:

The current priorities for this team are:- The improvement of current production techniques and processes. Establishingthe framework for the transfer of longer run production to contract manufacturers. The individual will therefore beinvolved in the following:- Production Engineering. Review and improve production techniques and processes. Review andimprove test techniques and processes. Interface with R&D on introduction of new products and rework of current products.Documentation / review production documents and verify their completeness (assembly drawings, assembly instructions, BoM,AVL/component specifications, QC inspection spec and instructions, QA manual). Explore board level testing options withR&D. Assess potential subcontractors. Package documentation for submission to contractors for quotation. Develop anaction plan and timetable.Other Areas :- Work with QE on day-to-day issues including improvement of first time pass rate in test.Assist with introduction and running of PLC (Product Life Cycle) process. Assist Buyer/Component Engineer with RoHScompliance work.
