EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER WITH C AND JVM EXPERIENCE SORTOur client seeks an enthusiastic and self motivated Embedded Software Engineer to join their Embedded Software team. You will design, develop and test embedded software, including all aspects of development cycle from specification of requirements to design, development, testing, integration, release and maintenance, working with development teams across various sites and with partners/customers. You must have a relevant degree (computer science / software engineering preferred), demonstrable knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, embedded software including 1 year+ experience with embedded software in a commercial environment. C and or C++ programming skills, 1 year+ programming in embedded software environment, understanding of digital hardware / computer architectures and experience / appreciation of software development procedures / configuration management. Strong inter-personal / communication skills. Desirable: C++ programming experience, knowledge of 3D Graphics principles / Java Virtual Machine internals. Experience with assembler-level programming/debugging (ARM desirable). Knowledge/experience of software for mobile or consumer devices. Experience of Perl programming and Microsoft Windows / UNIX host environments. |
