: An excellent opportunity has arisen within a company involved in the international automotive industry with a range of services that embrace the entire development process chain. From initial concept right through to mass production readiness, they develop design solutions for vehicle bodies, interiors, chassis, engines, electronics and major components and can also provide support for mass production start-up. Your role will be to deliver common engine and supplier aligned control systems software solutions including integration of vehicle level and distributed functionality for specific applications which meet all corporate, legal, programme, timing and cost objectives. This role will involve capturing all software functional requirements from the customer, defining programme specific software requirements, developing software delivery plans and appraising software suppliers with respect to their development and test activities. Educated to degree level in an engineering or related subject you will have engine systems experience (development/calibration preferred) with an electronics background. You must have good organisation & work planning skills, be proficient in Microsoft Project and have excellent written and verbal communication ability. |
