Engine - Die Cast - Engineering Staff (4 years work experience in casting environment in TC role) Overview of Department: High pressure die casting. Manufacturing of engine components. Key Role & Responsibilities: 1) Die Cast process control, primarily high pressure die cast, LPDC (Low Pressure Die Cast) know how is required. 2) Casting Die knowledge 3) Ability to use the company's problem solving techniques 4) Hands on welding & machine shop experience Job Requirements: Qualification (s) High School Diploma/GED or A Level/BTec/GNVQ or above (not above Bachelors Degree, Masters or Doctorate) in Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering. Experience: 4 years work experience in casting environment in TC role with technical background Additional Requirements: Essential: 1) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 2) Demonstrate ability to investigate, analyse and problem solve and implement appropriate countermeasures, where appropriate. 3) Flexible approach to job responsibilities. 4) Demonstrate computer skills (Microsoft Office) 5) An efficient and logical approach 6) Self motivated and the ability to work unsupervised Desirable: 1) A Demonstrable understanding of Quality System (ISO9002) 2) Previous supervisory/management experience.
