Description:

Responsibilities.Working under the project manager, you will be expected to provide technician support for the new development programmes.This will provide varied work, with tasks expected to include: Build and testing new designs of gas seals Individual component testing Input into the development of the build andassembly procedures Input into the test programmes and assemblyof the necessary test equipment The preparation and administration of testdata and inspection reports Liasing with supplies to ensure quality ofexternal parts and servicesThe Selection CriteriaHND or HNC engineering qualification - City & Guilds maybe considered for exceptional candidatesA knowledge of test instrumentation and data loggingPractical experience within a work shop or test bay environmentAn understanding of manufacturing processesAble to adopt a pro-active and flexible approach to work that allows the candidate to work independently as well as partof a team.Good communication skills are essential including verbal, report writing and simple presentations.A limited amount of foreign travel will be required.Contributory pensionProbation of 6 months25 days holiday plus 6 bank holidaysStandard hours:08.30 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday08.30 am to 4.30 pm Friday
