We are currently looking for an Estimator to work for a small contractor based in Hertfordshire working on refurbishment contracts ranging in value from GBP 100,000 - GBP 700,000. The projects cover a variety of sectors from schools and hospitals to retail fit outs. The ideal candidate will be capable of tendering for a number of projects at any one time. He or she will have experience of working on refurbishment contracts which also encompass structural alterations and extensions etc. A good general construction background would be ideal.This role will involve working closely with the managing director and eventually taking over the estimating duties from him. The company have a turnover of around GBP 8 million.Location: Based in Hertfordshire, the role is commutable from parts of Essex and London including Enfield, Hertford, Welwyn Garden City, Epping, Romford, Potters Bar, Hatfield and surrounding areasSalary: GBP 40,000 + car/allowance + healthcare + pension + discretionary bonus + 20 days holiday |
