EXHIBITIONS & DEMONSTARTIONS ENGOINEER WITH BROADCAST BACKGROUND SORTYou will provide demonstrations and presentations at theoretical and practical level to customers across all business segments as part of a team or individually at exhibitions / demonstrations. Equipment integration, test and general stand build in the UK and abroad. Maintain close communications, ascertaining/implementing requirements. Maintain all equipment to latest firmware, hardware/software levels in conjunction with customer support. Technical/practical assistance, equipment loans for internally and overseas, testing before despatch. Regular travel, sometimes at short notice, with long and unsociable hours. High level of interpersonal skills, able to deliver presentations, in-house and at client organisations.Demonstrable progression of responsibility during past/present employment. Good knowledge of broadcast industry/MPEG solutions and working knowledge of networking infrastructure / computer based software preferable. Experience of working overseas within an electronic discipline will be advantageous. |
