Position:Export ClerkHours of Work:Monday Thursday: 10.00am 6.30pm Friday (only): 1pm 9.30pm (or finish)(Lunch 1 hour)Job Description:Shipment CompletionYou will be responsible for dealing with a selection of UK based customers, & overseas areas for routed (consignee controlled) shipments. This will include all communication, arranging collections, rating, completion & splitting of airwaybills, customs entries & prealerts (where required).In addition on Fridays you would be required to complete any/all unfinished export shipments.You will also be required to assist the department with the following tasks:-Post FlightsLiaising with airlines, checking to see if shipments have departed, sorting out any queries that might come up.Certifying AirwaybillsTaking the top copy of the airwaybill and stamp with flown stamp ready to send out to customers.PostSending out all airwaybills and invoices to all customers.FilingAll AD and AA filing to be put in numerical order and put away in the filing cabinets.IATA statisticsCollecting data from all direct Airwaybills and logging them onto a spread sheet.Full training will be given.Allport are an investors in people company and there will be opportunities to go on various courses for further development. |
