World class IP network operator are currently looking to strengthen their City based operations team and require a well motivated, professional manager whose responsibility will be to provide top class service and performance in the operation and maintenance of the clients network infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will be to manage customer and network turn up, maintenance and repair at the client sites supporting both National and International Voice, Data, Web Hosting and IP Services and Metro, Long Distance, International Plant, within the City. You will be required to provide weekly/monthly reports regarding staffing levels, budgeting, key performance indicators (MTTR, installation performance, etc.) Required will be the ability to lead and develop a technical team and provide technical input to resolve operational network/customer problems. Coupled with sound knowledge of operations science theories. You must be able to drive external fix agents in order to meet customer SLA's and exceed customer expectations. Lead team meetings to communicate and cascade strategic and tactical priorities and obtain feedback. Represent Field Services at internal operational reviews. The City Operations Manager will provide guidance and leadership to all direct and administration reports. Also the City Operations Manager will have functional responsibility to the SBU organization, ensuring compliance with global process and systems and maintaining consistency across the organisation. London based. Package for this role is between GBP 45-50k base, plus 20% bonus and superb benefits package.
