: This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of power systems to the industrial, telecommunications, transport, automotive and military markets. Playing an integral role within their established sales team, you will be responsible for managing existing key accounts and also proactively developing new business. This role will suit an ambitious and motivated team-player who is either already working in sales (internal or field) and looking for scope to progress, or is currently working in engineering and wants to move into sales. The company can offer excellent scope for training and career progression and will give you the opportunity to get involved in the strategic side of developing sales strategy/ new business, as well as the hands-on side. The company offer a bespoke technical product, so an engineering/ technical background is important in order to advice on products and write technical proposals. Travel within the UK (and occasionally internationally) will be imperative in order to meet both existing and potential customers. You are likely to spend c. two days in the office and three visiting customers. A background in batteries, UPS or power management would be advantageous, but is non-essential as full product training will be provided. The starting salary will be GBP 25K plus benefits, fully expensed company car.
